I agree. I had that same problem when I was writimg my fan fic story. (althought this is now gone) I do think that KITTs scanners were actually my biggest problem. No other functions really got in the way though, although I didnt finish the story before my computer crashed.

Personally I dont (and will never) trust the our (U.S.) gov. For this reason I think that a car like KITT could, and may, exist today. Id rather have KITT than KARR. KARR would be much more dangerous because he doesnt understand everything that KITT does and he doesnt protect human life.
