I hate to say it, but it definately looks like the same model as Ertl is offering for $30 less. I was hoping it would be different.
Too bad, but still something great to look forward to.

It is a shame, though, because with the technology AOSHIMA has, they could actually make a LIGHTED dashboard in a 1/18th Scale KITT. How cool would that be!?

I also thought it was a synthisizer, especially considering how the entire opening theme was done completely on a synth.

OK, here's what I was told....
If you record KITT's scanner noise with a recorder that has 2 speeds on the SLOWER speed, then play it back using the faster speed, you will hear a bird singing. That's what I was told, so aussieknight was on the right track.
