Comparisons with other spin-offs

For all those who loved the old Knight Rider, many spin-offs may have been rather hard to get used to, and complaints would come in. We seem to like this version of the show a lot more, so how would it compare with the other shows that were spun off from Knight Rider? To begin, it's absolutely nothi...

Re: Knight Rider 08 premiering in Mumbai

We can always hope so. STAR World is broadcasting Knight Rider 2008 twice a week at prime time, with one afternoon rerun an episode, so they seem to be trying really hard. Maybe fans here can help out, but we'd prefer to watch the show in time with the rest of the world (at least a little after the ...

Re: Knight Rider 08 premiering in Mumbai

It's been really long since I posted here, which may be a hint of the lack of Knight Rider activity here. I've caught two episodes (missed Knight in Shining Armor) and opinions are a little better than neutral. I can't comment too much on Team Knight Rider as I haven't seen a full episode of it on a...

The VW Beetle from Blind Spot – That was one awful episode, so I always skipped it, but someone's trying really hard to make a star out of a mere prop! Knerd – It got that 'Knerdy' look at the end, but we saw a lot of it. An unusual thing about its scanner sound was that it was heard even in Knight...

The many vehicles of Knight Rider

The most famous vehicles on Knight Rider were obviously KITT, KARR and Goliath, but there were several othe vehicular 'stars' on this show. Let's look at the many vehicles of Knight Rider, and how they fit in. We know enough about KITT, so we'll skip that. Peripheral vehicles such as Devon's Mercede...

Did I forget? There was that silly bayou song in one part of the episode, and it carried on far too long. Just like most parts. This one should have been cut down to half an hour and it would still be just right. As for the mission, we find that the missions in Season 2 are usually rather trivial, o...

Ring Of Fire

We've seen the crowd favourite Soul Survivor, but the follow-up episode, Ring OF Fire, is absolutely dreadful. What were the scriptwriters thinking? It's slow-paced, dull, dark and gets far too personal. This was common in most Season 2 episodes, where Michael and KITT were involved in missions they...

Favourite episode not involving the Foundation

The reruns are going into the fourth season for the first time and I haven't posted in a long time! The most popular Knight Rider episodes often involve Michael, KITT, Devon, Bonnie or any other Foundation (ex-) member, such as "Trust Doesn't Rust" (KARR/KITT), "Soul Survivor" (K...

Now, I'm watching Soul Survivor, and Devon just mentioned- "We don't know if it's her real name". Maybe her real name is Adrianne St. Clair, or even Bianca Morgan. How Devon recognises her in "Goliath Returns" is a mystery.

Then there's this part of one policeman in "The Final Verdict" who doubts Michael's intentions, then comes back in "Knight by a nose" as a villain. There's the evil Camaron Zachary, who returns as a mere art collector in "Voo Doo Knight". The most disappointing re-use o...

Double-trailer?

What would you say about having the Foundation Mobile Unit or Goliath as a double-trailer? It would be a little difficult to imagine the Semi as a double-trailer, since you can't imagine where KITT would stay, but there would be more space for equipment and a lab. Goliath with a double-trailer would...

Knight Moves- nitpicks?

Here are some nitpicks (?) that I have noticed in the episode Knight Moves. For starters, you may notice there's the opening sequence, which has sound effects. That's the first in the sequence, which carries on for the last three episodes. Then, there's that ending sequence for the episode, which is...

KR is back!

It's been a really, really long time since I've posted out here, but ever since KR was off the channel, there's not been much to talk about. Anyway, the chanenl that showed KR was showing MacGyver in the afternoon. Then came Magnum PI, then The A-Team, and all of them were very enjoyable. One Tuesda...

Now, if its this easy to make a car look like a Ferrari, then making a car look like a 1982 Trans-Am has to be a breeze. Exactly what I wanted to say all along. You have something that's reliable, pocket-light and easy to keep running, but looks like a Pontiac Trans Am. However, some purists on thi...

That Acura NSX mod was nothing more than a paint job and spoiler fitting. You can still identify that as an Acura, because it's not very similar in appearance to the F50.

Dukes was a cheap concept- it looked a garage product with real-life rednecks. The producers could actually use it repeatedly for a longer time. The same can't be said of Knight Rider, which was a lot more expensive to run, so if it suffered a drop in popularity, it would hurt the producers a lot. H...

The movie may be good. The acting may be good. The direction may be good. The special effects may be like never before. But Dukes of Hazzard is one outrageously dumb theme which will never work outside the Southern states or with people who can't identify with them. Knight Rider is popular worldwide...

I hope they don't bring back KARR, since he's already used before and may look out of place. Still, we'd like a new machine with the same voice as Soundwave from Transformers.

RATING: 11%. Another episode the show could do without. It was slow-paced, dull and dragged on too long. Not to mention, Michael and KITT had to suffer the ignominy of solving what looked a personal problem. The acting was no great shakes, and except for the sequence where a ring of fire erupted, th...

one artist i'm familiar with is Billy Idol. Rebell yell's a good song by him, i must agree. He is an eighties artist, isn't he? (just making sure lol)
Billy Idol is that artist who did "White Wedding"- one of the dumbest songs I have ever heard, but Rebel Yell is far better.
