Re: 1.07 - No Big Thing

The gas station when MK refills KITT for fuel is located just across the steet where Alfa Italia is : 1700 North San Fernando Boulevard, Burbank, California 91504

According to Street View, the gas station is still there.

1984 - 1985 models had the split back seats. That is how you can tell
what year cars they used in what season.
I don't agree, my car is an original '84, and it has the solid rear bench

Well, I don't agree with you  Look closely at the top of the black plastic which runs along the sail panel to the T-Tops. The top of this part is square, and the top of the same part on a car with original factory T-Tops is quite round. The T-Tops handle area is also very different from the on...

Did someone notice it hasn't the stock GM T-Tops ??

It has the same T-Tops than the car we discussed about at the Foundation recently.

So, as Brian said, it isn't an original screen used car.

The Firebird was available with 4 cylinders engine between 1982 and 1985 (maybe 1986 too but not sure). It was a 2.5L engine with 90 hp... barely enough knowing the weight of the car body. Trans AM always came standard from 1969 to 2002 with a V8 engine, except the special Trans AM Indianapolis 500 ...

The Corvette was first released in 1953, the Camaro in 1967 and then the Firebird the same year (but the Camaro was the initial project, it was Delorean's idea to give Pontiac the opportunity to sell a sister car). The Trans AM was only released in 1969. And for your information, as the Camaro and F...

You can see one of KITT's real engines in the episode "Give Me Liberty... Or Give Me Death" from season 1, when a bomb is placed in the engine bay of what is supposed to be the orange Dodge Charger.

I agree with Pewter and KnightDriver, the van was black and gray above the red stripe, in fact you can see that in the last link you posted.

Just to inform you, you have no chance to register a customized Trans AM in French plates so I hope you ordered a stock car and that you will convert it after having it registered in French license plates.

I noticed some big ones too !! In the pilot, notice the license plates used during the race during close-ups on the rear bumper of KITT. One is a license plate with a 1982 yellow sticker and a MAY sticker which is quite normal in 1982. The other one is a... 1983 red sticker (yes, in spite of the fac...

I would say carb engines. They are easy to tune-up, repair or replace, which are not the case for TBI engines or TPI which need some good mechanics experience to work on them all by itself. Anyway, the Crossfire is not the official engine of KITT, a lot of engines were used (305 Crossfire engines, 3...

I'll probably convert it in the near future.

Isn't GMT the time at Greenwich Meridian ??

It's the case, that's why the initials stand for Greenwich Meridian Time. There is indeed normally a gap in time of about 8 or 9 hours with the US West Coast.

Don't forget Greewich is located in England
