This movie bears no connection to either the original series or [[Knight Rider 2000]]. No one has any idea why they deceivingly named it Knight Rider 2010. The only remote resemblance to the real [[Knight Rider]] is that the movie features some kind of homemade car with a woman's mind/soul implanted in it.
